Starting Your First Session
Once you've logged in, it’s time to start your first conversation with an AI Client.
Step 1: Browse the Clients
When you log in, you’ll land on the Discover page.
Here, you’ll see:
A range of AI Client cards, each with a different background and presenting issue (like anxiety or family stress)
Clients grouped by category to help you choose
Take your time, read the short descriptions, and pick a client that interests you.

Step 2: Click “Start Case”
When you're ready, click “Start Case” on any client card.
A pop-up will recommend finding a quiet space where you can speak freely — this helps make the conversation feel more natural.
Click Continue once you're ready.

Step 3: Read the Orientation Card
Before the session begins, you’ll see an orientation card with a short blurb about the client.
This gives you a bit of background to help you prepare.

Step 4: Decide on Video (Optional)
By default, your camera is off
If you want the client to see your face, you can turn your camera on
This is optional — totally up to you
Then click “Start Conversation”

Step 5: Audio & Video Check
You’ll now see a video and audio setup page, where you can:
Test your microphone
Preview your camera (if it’s on)
Check your speaker output
If it’s your first session, your browser (Chrome or Edge) will ask for permission to use your mic and camera.
Be sure to allow access when prompted — otherwise, things won’t work.

Step 6: Unmute to Begin
Important: The client can’t hear you until you unmute yourself.
There’s no “Submit” button. SimCare automatically listens, and the client responds when you're done speaking.
You can also interrupt the client naturally, just like a real session.

✅ That’s It
Once you’ve unmuted, your session has officially started.
Start talking — the client is ready to listen.
