Step 3: The Timesheet Tab (Logging Hours)
This is where you will spend most of your time in FieldX.
The Layout
- Top: You will see Pending Tasks (items waiting for your action).
- Bottom: A table listing all your historically logged hours.
How to Log Hours
Click the Add Hour Log button. You will be asked to fill in:
- Activity: What were you doing? (e.g., Direct Service, Supervision).
- Start & End Time: When did the activity occur?
- Location: Where did it take place?
- Site: Which site were you at?
- Cohort: Which class should these hours count toward?
- Supervisor: Who supervised this activity?
Managing Past Logs
The table at the bottom allows you to Filter your view (e.g., by date range or activity type). You can also Edit or Delete past entries if you made a mistake, provided they haven't been signed off yet.
